A brand-new home stripped of builder-grade basics and rebuilt with warmth, scale, and purpose.
Completed in 2025, Barron House began as a blank slate — a newly built home in a great neighborhood with finishes the client didn’t love. They chose to go basic with the builder and brought us in to gut and reimagine the space with character and craftsmanship.
We replaced the kitchen, flooring, and cabinets, added a 10-seat island wrapped in Taj Mahal quartzite, and built a custom pool with screened lanai and outdoor kitchen — all while salvaging and donating what we could from the original install.

Lucaya Bay started as a well-built home that no longer matched the owners’ lifestyle. The finishes were dated, and key spaces like the kitchen, bath, and outdoor areas lacked the function and flow of a modern luxury home.
“It’s new, but it’s not us.”
- Client
The client loved the location but not the finishes — so we carefully deconstructed the newly built space, donating usable materials while preparing for a full custom build. We also had to engineer a massive kitchen island without crowding the layout and construct a complete pool + lanai setup without disrupting the home’s new infrastructure.
We listen first—understanding your wish‑list, budget, and timeline so every decision aligns with your goals.
Detailed scope, schedule, and cost breakdowns set clear expectations and protect the calendar.
3‑D renderings and material samples turn ideas into visuals you can approve with confidence.
A dedicated project manager orchestrates trades, inspections, and daily site cleanliness, keeping you informed through BuilderTrend.
The design focused on adding warmth, enhancing functionality, and creating a fully custom feel.
It’s not every day you rip out brand-new finishes — but we did it with precision and care. Salvaged materials were donated or repurposed. One of our proudest moments? Digging and completing the pool in just 6 weeks, including hardscape, structure, and outdoor kitchen.
The client now regularly hosts her entire family at the island, swims with her grandbabies, and throws weekend BBQs in a space that finally feels like home.
Barron House has even been featured in our marketing campaigns — a perfect example of how a clean slate can still become a custom masterpiece.
